Who is doing this?

The Jim Eaton Summer Day Camp is sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York, and overseen by the Bishop’s Commission for Healing the Systems of Poverty in Western New York.

Eaton Camp is  an entirely secular (non-religious) summer reading camp for young elementary school children from the Buffalo Public School System. Our focus is to support and build the literacy skills of young readers to ensure that they can read at grade level by the fourth grade.

The goal of the Episcopal Church in this place is to ensure that every child in Western New York can read.
